It has not gone unnoticed that another radio station will go offline. Another painful memory that reminds us of the moment we were forced to stop our activities. We think this slowly hollows out the scene and that it is not acceptable!

Since Fear.FM has gone offline we went searching for possibilities to come back. Up till today we still get a lot of positive comments on Fear.FM, which gives us the power and motivation to fight back and search for the right solutions.

But there is light at the end of the darkness! We have met with potential partners who see a future in Fear.FM. Even though there are still enough obstacles ahead of us, we are convinced that with the right support, Fear.FM has a new chance of existence.

Before the point is there that Fear.FM is back, we have to convince sponsors and/or partners that Fear.FM has a right to exist. To do this we need you to subscribe/follow/like Fear.FM on the provided social media pages. With the amount of members we hope to convince sponsors and/or partners that Fear.FM has to be back!

After months of meetings, excitement, irritation and frustration we are happy to announce that:

We are back!

The last year we have been working very hard on a possible comeback of Fear.FM. Continuously talking with a lot of different people and a lot of important meetings. In the end we finally found a solution on which we can conclude that Fear.FM will be back.

When will we be back?

Until the time comes that the Fear.FM returns, we will be focussing on the preparations in order to ensure that everything will proceed smoothly. Until those preparations are finished we can not give an exact date of the comeback. If you would like to be updated on the status of all this, please follow one of our social media accounts like Twitter, Facebook, Hyves or Myspace.

At the moment we are also working very hard on restyling the Fear.FM website. Besides that we are going to introduce some new cool features and of course some brand new concepts.

Which streams will return?

The last weeks we received a lot of questions if Fear.FM will return and of course with which streams? After thorough consultation, we decided that both Fear.FM Hard, Harder as Hardest will return on the internet. This way we hope you all can enjoy the well known Fear.FM sound again.

Important changes

Past experiences shown that Fear.FM had some problems with the fact that everything on the website was in Dutch. As more than half the people are from outside The Netherlands we have chosen to change the entire website to English. This would mean that English will be the main language and that all published content and shows will be in English.

Do you want to help Fear.FM?

Besides that the main language of the community will be changed there will be a lot more. Are you curious, minimal 18 years old and do you think you can help us? Send your Curriculum Vitae including your motivation to “vacancies@fear.fm”.

At the moment we are looking for people who can help us improve our magazine. Are you good at writing press messages in English? Don't hesitate to contact us.

Residents

Without residents there won't be a Fear.FM. Are you interested in becoming a resident DJ and do you think you are good enough? Read the information below:

Here is how you can participate:

- Create a mix of 25-30 minutes.
- Upload it to www.zippyshare.com
- Go to http://helpdesk.fear.fm/ and submit a ticket under the category Demo with the name “We want Fear.FM back mix”.

Provide us with the following data:

- Your full name.
- Your age.
- Your DJ Alias..
- A link to your Partyflock DJ page (if present).
- Your experience as a DJ.
- The gear you used to record the set.
- The full tracklist of the set.

Rules:

- Do not use music that you are not allowed to play or that has not been released officially. Tracks that are given away for Free by the author of the track are allowed to be used.
- The minimum quality of the mix must be 192 kbps in MP3 format.
- No computer mixes like Tracktor, Mixmeister or VDJ are allowed.

Note: All mixes that are already sent to our helpdesk will, if they are good enough, automatically be used for resident spots.
